At COLLECTION Business Centre, they are already looking forward to a successful 2019 financial year, as a high occupancy rate has already been reported at this stage. Thanks to the very high demand and popularity of the products, most locations are already fully booked and waiting lists are forming in many places. Sales at the new site in Hamburg are also already in full swing.
Tapping into the spirit of the times
From the very beginning, the company adopted the right strategy with its flexible and straightforward office rental service in the premium segment. This is borne out by the company’s latest figures: all locations in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main and Hamburg are fully booked; the Vienna location has also achieved an occupancy rate of over 90 per cent. In Düsseldorf and Frankfurt am Main, bookings are already being taken for next summer. The company has thus far exceeded its own targets.
Clearly, COLLECTION Business Centre is providing its target groups with the right office solutions by constantly adapting and expanding its product range. Adapting quickly to market conditions poses no problem for the company. Furthermore, steadily increasing brand awareness is driving greater demand, attributable to both the rebranding and the relaunch of the website. Prospective clients immediately know what the company does and what to expect.
The expansion of the co-working offering, which took place at the start of the year, has also been very well received by customers. Thanks to the range of packages available, everyone can find the right, scalable solution. The co-working segment has established itself as a mainstay of the business model within a very short space of time and has become an integral part of the business centres. The furniture concepts tested in the shared offices were very well received by users and will be rolled out to further locations.
Positive outlook for the coming year
In January 2020, the new business centre will open its doors at the prime address in Hamburg: Neuer Wall 80. All sales channels were prepared and activated during the summer months. As things stand, over 30 per cent of the office space has already been let, and companies are also securing coworking spaces and virtual offices at this stage. No previous location has received so many bookings ahead of its opening. However, this location also holds symbolic value for the company. It was part of the network of locations operated by Excellent Business Centre – a company that was previously also owned by the owners of COLLECTION Business Centre.
To meet the high demand, the search for a further location in Düsseldorf is also underway. Discussions with the owners are already at an advanced stage. This would be the third location in the affluent city on the Rhine. Meanwhile, the search for a second location in Frankfurt am Main is also well under way. The only fly in the ointment remains the planned business centre in Cologne: due to the progress of construction work, the Wallarkaden on Rudolfplatz are not expected to open before summer 2021.
Premium facilities and customer satisfaction as key drivers of success
COLLECTION Business Centre is renowned in Germany and Austria for its exceptional quality – whether in terms of its products or its service. This is precisely what sets the company apart from the crowd. All furnished office spaces are fitted to a high standard and are unique thanks to their colour and lighting schemes. In particular, great emphasis has been placed on exclusive design to enhance the sense of well-being at work and give customers the feeling of staying in a five-star hotel. It is a concept that has yet to be successfully replicated. COLLECTION Business Centre has proven that this very business model resonates with its clientele.
The Group CEO, Dr André Helf, looks forward to the next financial year with great anticipation: “Our expectations for 2019 were far exceeded. Whilst many competitors have at least half their space standing empty, we are currently struggling to keep up with demand.” This confirms that the company’s strategic concept and impeccable differentiation are paying off in full and that there is still plenty of room for growth. “Unfortunately, some construction projects are progressing only slowly, due to the construction firms’ full order books,” continues Dr Helf, “We’d love to step up the pace on new openings if it were possible.” Nevertheless, he is optimistic that a third site in Düsseldorf will open as early as next year. We will, of course, be reporting on this soon.
