Mannheim, 9 June 2020 – COLLECTION Business Centre, the next-generation flexible workspace provider, has taken up premises at FLEXGATE at the new BER Airport. The lease agreement, covering approximately 2,200 square metres of office space and 16 car parking spaces, has a term of 13 years. FLEXGATE has a total lettable area of 14,300 square metres and is being developed by FAY Projects. The new building is situated in the Gatelands Business Park and is the first office building to be constructed there. Construction is scheduled to begin at the end of 2020, with completion planned for autumn 2022. Preparatory archaeological excavations will begin in July.
“On the fifth floor of FLEXGATE, we will offer fully equipped office solutions, ranging from individual offices to virtual offices with a business address and call answering in the company’s name,” says Dr André Helf, Group CEO of COLLECTION Business Centre. Furthermore, there will also be meeting and conference rooms at this location. “The rooms can be hired by the hour, by the day or even on an annual basis. In this way, we are creating a high-quality, flexible offering for discerning office users right next to the capital’s airport,” says Helf.
“The FLEXGATE concept provides for reversible office space to meet a wide range of usage requirements right on the doorstep of the soon-to-open BER Airport,” says Clemens Rapp, Managing Director of FAY. “We are providing individual, combined or open-plan offices, as well as quiet, creative or communal areas, and anticipate high demand, particularly from users with links to the airport, as well as consultancy and service companies with high mobility requirements,” says Rapp.
